I need to fix my asphalt driveway

Well spring technically starts tomorrow, but my neighbors and I have all independently come to be thinking about the ultimate spring project: fixing a driveway that has been abused by

• Ice, as water gets into driveway cracks and expands
  
• Snowblowers chipping away at the edges of old asphalt patches
  
• A rain-softened foundation, letting the driveway sag and cup.
  

OK, so if we had sealed our blacktop in the fall, some of the above wouldn't have happened.
